Society of Women Engineers Singapore (SWE@SG) was formed on the 08 March 2021 with official launch on the 23 June 2021 by 4 corporate partners and 4 universities.
On 10 March 2021, SWE@SG was chartered on the sunny island of Singapore with a goal to empower women to achieve their full potential as engineers and leaders in Singapore and provide support across all stages of their careers. It will promote a community of like-minded individuals while working actively to advance women in engineering.
How we partner with corporations
SWE@SG’s approach to fostering collaboration with corporations is simple, yet effective. We believe that together, we can achieve more. When your organization partners with us, it can be as simple as joining SWE@SG events. Companies who want to be a catalyst for change can step up to support our programs and initiatives that have a direct impact on the recruitment, advancement, and success of women engineers.
How we partner with universities
SWE@SG has built strong connections with the four technical universities in Singapore by engaging the faculty advisors and student leaders of the university affiliates in the committee.
SWE@SG and the SWE@SG-University Affiliates converge annually on the International Women in Engineering Day (INWED) to commemorate the launch in 2021.
