Dr Richard Kwok is the Deputy President, Trains and Chief, Joint READI at SMRT from 18 December 2017. In Oct 2019, He is the President of IES and also establishes the Singapore Rail Standard and chairs the Technical Committee. Prior joining SMRT, he was the Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, ST Kinetics since 1978.
Dr Kwok has more than 47 years of diverse working experience and held concurrent appointments including as Chief Executive Officer with Advanced Technology Research Centre (ATREC, a JV between DSO and ST Kinetics) since April 2006 until his retirement in Dec 2017. He also chaired 7 research laboratories at ITE, Polytechnics and IHLs.
Dr Kwok is a product designer, an engineer, a technologist, an academia and a researcher. His areas of interest and research include robotic technologies, survivability & protective technologies, nano & novel materials, power transmission, railway and transportation, renewable energy, manned and unmanned system, Intellectual property and business & technology management.
Dr Kwok was the Chairman of Intellectual Property Right Committee in Singapore Technologies Engineering from 2000 to Dec 2017. He was Adjunct Professor with Southern Cross University in 2000 to 2007, served as Adjunct Associate Professors with the Nanyang Technological University and the National University of Singapore in 1999 and 2005 respectively. He is Adjunct Professor, School of Science & Technology at SIM University (now SUSS) since March 2011.

Steven spent more than 25 years in Semiconductor industry with more than a decade each at STMicroelectronics and Xilinx.
Steven current role is Senior Director for South Asia Pacific Sales and responsible for Xilinx business activities in Asean, ANZ & India. Steven’s prior role was as Senior Director, Global Business Operations where he was responsible for Xilinx’s global business processes and pricing strategy thru setting up Xilinx’s Global Pricing Services.
Prior to Xilinx, Steven spent more than a decade in STMicroelectronics leading both Global Divisional marketing and regional Marketing team across several Product Business units.
Steven graduated from Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in EE Engineering and attained both Master in Business from Macquarie Graduate School Business (MGSM) & MBA from University of Western Australia (UWA). Pooi See Lee is Professor at the Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. Pooi See is a leading expert in the field of soft and stretchable electronics, nanomaterials for energy, human-machine interface and functional materials for soft robotics.
She is the recipient of the Norman Hackerman Young Author Award 2002, TechConnect Innovation Award 2015, National Research Foundation Investigatorship Award 2016, Nanyang Research Award 2016, and the Nanyang Innovation and Entrepreneurship Award 2018.
She has been elected the Fellow, National Academy of Inventors 2020, the highest professional distinction awarded solely to academic inventors. She has more than 300 publications and is recognized as a highly cited scientist. She is the senior editor of ACS Energy Letters and advisory board member in selected leading journals.

Jamie is the Director of Engineering responsible for product engineering and quality assurance of HP’s ink cartridges for Print. She drives the digital transformation of manufacturing, embracing the use of Industry 4.0 tools to bring about a step change in manufacturing efficiency and quality.
She has worked in many functions in manufacturing – from wafer fabrication to assembly operations, quality assurance, new product transfer, competitive intelligence, and business insights. This diverse experience led her to initiate and set up SMARC – Smart Manufacturing Application & Research Center in Singapore to transform the way we do manufacturing.
She has presented in international conferences and universities on Industry 4.0 adoption and the importance of diversity and job upskilling. A strong people advocate, she had led several initiatives on people development, mentorship, workforce upskilling and building a culture for innovation.
She was named in Singapore 100 Women-in-Tech in 2020.

Jacqueline Chua heads HP’s Print Microfluidics, Technology & Operations (MTO) Research & Development and New Product Introductions (NPI) organization in Southeast Asia. She develops strategies and builds organization capabilities to bring new products to market: in particular, HP Inkjet cartridges.
Jacqueline began her career at HP in 1995 after graduating from Singapore’s Nanyang Technological University (NTU) with a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical & Electronics. She has over many (30) years of working experience in Technology sector at IBM, HP, Microsoft, start-ups and ST Engineering servicing clients from airlines and airports, banking and financial services institutions, to manufacturing and consumer packaged goods industry, defence, education, healthcare, government and critical infrastructure sectors accumulated many years industry knowledge in the business and IT transformation journey. She has been business advisor in providing business and technology consultancy to companies and start-ups in striving for the digital transformation, innovation, industrial internet, connectivity, and sustainability.

She served as a member of the Media Literacy Council (2016-2018) under the Ministry of Communications and Information, Singapore to develop public awareness and education on cyber wellness, and advise trends and development pertaining to the Internet and media.
She was among the early batch of certified Client Executives that completed IBM Cohort Client Executive Certification program at Harvard Business School, Boston USA. She led the Global Client Management Practice development in HP. She designed and conducts Insight Selling and Envisioning & Co-creation workshops at ST Engineering. She developed her passion for coaching and advocates as a coach for others in excelling in client relationship and business management.
She holds a Master Degree in Business Administration with High Honors from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. She is esteemed with the Amy and Richard Wallman Scholar at the Chicago Booth School of Business. She holds a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. She is fluent in both English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese).

Mousumi Bhat has spent 25 years as a Semiconductor technologist and has held several key leadership positions within the industry.
Her experience in semiconductors covers end to end operations including R&D, Process Integration and Yield Engineering, Frontend and Assembly and Test Operations, Customer Management, Quality and Supplier Management. Her main strength is transforming organizations, people and processes. She serves on the Advisory Board for SEMI SEA.
She is passionate about creating sustainable business practices and truly believe that corporations are perfectly positioned to drive for social and economic parity through technological innovations. The recent pandemic has created the avenue for the Semiconductor Industry to be opportunistic and to pivot into enabling innovation for the new normal of business and life

Niki Wong is currently leads the overall strategic, global process development and longer-term initiatives for biologics processes under her responsibility. She started her career in AbbVie/Abbott 10 years ago as a cell culture lead scientist and subsequently led the GTO team in process development and tech transfer activities. Her previous experience as a Research Scientist at the Bioprocessing Technology Institute, involved various aspects of bioprocessing research that resulted in co-authorship of 17 publications.
Dr Eva Loo is a biomedical engineer with domain expertise in materials design and development for biomedical applications. She studied at Johns Hopkins University for both her undergraduate and doctorate degrees, with significant time spent at Duke University as an exchange student. Upon graduation, she joined the Institute of Bioengineering and Nanotechnology in Singapore. In 2019, she joined Evonik when the Project House Tissue Engineering was established to develop innovative solutions for regenerative medicine applications. She currently leads a team which is developing scaffolds for tissue engineering and cell culture ingredients for cell therapy.
Chow Li Ting currently leads the global team in the development of the next generation of NAND high value solutions for Micron.
Passionate in developing her career in engineering, she has accumulated over 15 years of semiconductor industry experience in DRAM and NAND flash memory product engineering and development, semiconductor frontend and backend manufacturing processes, as well as yield and device engineering.

Krithi recently graduated with BEng Pharmaceutical Engineering from Singapore Institute of Technology, where she was both a scholar and a student ambassador. For the past year, Krithi has been a research engineer at her alma mater, working to develop a scale-up platform for adoptive cell therapy. Her strong desire to solve real world problems, coupled with her interest in public health has earned her a place in MSc Epidemiology at Imperial College London which she is intending to pursue later this year.
