On June 23, 2021, in honor of International Women in Engineering Day (INWED), SWE@SG hosted a highly engaging virtual event to celebrate its official launch. The event was themed ‘All Together, Empowering Women Engineers in Singapore,’ aiming to provide an inclusive platform for engineers and technology enthusiasts to come together and engage in insightful discussions.


Distinguished speakers from leading engineering and technology organizations graced the occasion, shedding light on crucial industry policies, trending topics, and actions necessary to enable gender parity and empower women in leadership positions within STEM fields.


The event marked a significant milestone for SWE@SG and its four university affiliates. SWE@SG, in collaboration with these institutions, envisioned connecting like-minded engineering professionals, uniting them in a shared mission to promote diversity and foster a robust foundational engineering base in Singapore.
